Who we are

Two roasters, one Giesen, three farms

Stelios trained in Australia, Anneke roasted in Utrecht, and both of them fell hard for the people behind the cherries. We buy from the same three farms every year, visit each January, and roast every kilo on the W6A in front of you.

Anneke handles the lighter Africans, Stelios the Brazils. When we disagree — and we do, often, in writing — we cup.

Coffee delivered the moment it is ready

Three plans, all roasted to order on the Tuesday or Thursday immediately before shipping. Pause, skip or cancel whenever you like.

The brew bar

A bar that lets the coffee talk

Eight seats at the marble counter, twelve more in the back room, and a window straight onto the roaster. We pour V60, Kalita, AeroPress and a Modbar espresso flow.

Pastries come from Estrella next door, the oat milk is Oatly Barista, and there is tap water with every cup whether you ask for it or not.

I have been ordering the Brew Bar at Home subscription since 2021. The Konga that arrived last Tuesday was the best filter coffee I have ever brewed at home — Stelios texted me the recipe and it was spot on.
